A mainly Scottish and Irish traditional Music Festival held in July in Balloch; which is close to the Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond. A fun packed week-end for all. The following Bands have so far been
confirmed for the 2004 festival: Known to be a very hot Salsa Band with
sexy salsa grooves, snazzy jazzy horns, foxy fiddle and wicked vocals.
Cultivated in the hot beds of Latin America yet based in Edinburgh,
Salsa Celtica are the sure fire recipe for a dance floor explosion.
Fusing fiery, exuberant South American rhythms with the whirl and skirl
of Scottish folk music, The McCalmans are one of Scotland's foremost Folk Song Trio. Formed in 1964, they have continued to record and tour without interruption Their performance is
based on searing three part harmony, humour and a respect for the tradition
of song in Scotland. Over ten years of experience has produced a group which performs their music withreal skill and enthusiasm, without sacrificing liveliness and spontaneity.
