Woodworking has always interested me but now I have invested in a little workshop where I can transform various wee bits of wood into sawdust and shavings a Delta 46-255 wood lathe helps do this quickly and now as I gain experience in this relaxing hobby I have included a few photo's of what's left of the wood after a few hours fun in the Gallery

must include a thank you to a local wood turner Neil Lindsay who was willing
to give up some of his time to help me get started showing me the basics
on how to hold the tools, load the wood etc. so after many hours using
the lathe I still have all my fingers and loads of wood shavings!! |
